Samba SWAT service enters maintenance mode and inetd errors svc:/network/swat:default isn't a regular file (Doc ID 1454210.1)

 On a Solaris 10 System the Samba SWAT sevice will enter maintenance mode.

The user will not be able to connect to the Samba SWAT Web utility via the Web browser connection to http://Samba-servername:901

In the /var/adm/messages file inetd will record a error such as the following:

inetd[PID###]: [ID 702911 daemon.error] The inetd_start method of instance svc:/network/swat:default isn't a regular file



 The Solaris 10 Samba Patch 146363-01 (SPARC) 146364-01 (X86) does change the location of the swat binary from /usr/sfw/sbin/swat to /usr/sbin/swat
