LTO - How to Troubleshoot Drives in AVR Mode (Doc ID 1455948.1)

LTO Tape Drive - Version Not Applicable and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Due in most of cases if the drive is having an issue in AVR mode this could mean, that the drive is not connected or is not working. The automatic mounts of tapes will not been perform while the drive is in this state. The user can run a robtest to mount tapes or mount the tapes manually.

Purpose

Troubleshoot drives when the status of the drive in NBU is AVR (Automatic Volume Recognition)  Mode and the drive can be seen properly by the OS and the library's console.
