7000 Appliance OS (Fishworks)

Symptoms

The appliance will not boot up fully.

The IP addresses on the system interfaces do not respond to ping, it is not possible to ssh/ping the IP address for the Service Processor (SP).

When attempting to connect to the SP via the serial management port it connects straight through to the systems's console output, not to the login prompt for the SP.

There may be several messages about akd failing to start and eventually being put into maintenance.

A screen is displayed with the error message about akd, giving the option to halt or reboot the system.
