Erie INT SGX-SAS6-INT-Z: disks do not show up in both output of cfgadm and "zpool status" (Doc ID 1464195.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 26, 2021

Applies to:

Sun Storage SCSI HBA - Version Not Applicable to Not Applicable [Release N/A]
Oracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit)

The Solaris utility "cfgadm -al" does not show proper disk device name when multipathing has been enabled.

Dual WWiDs show up on disks in the /etc/path_to_inst file

Example dual WWiD of path_to_inst output:

With the Erie card installed and multipathing enabled, there will be the actual disk WWiD (example: e30d5 above) the multipathing driver created WWiD which ends up being Example: Actual +2  (e30d5 +2 = e30d7)
