Goal

This document outlines a preventative procedure to overcome a 'Disk full' situation on Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Database Servers, as caused by the accumulation of MySQL relay logs (mysqld-relay-bin)  under '/var/opt/SUNWvda/mysql' directory.
