Symptoms
Customer reported that "mv" command does not understand SUNWattr_ro attributes on S10. Asking if there work-around or patch.
Only seems to happen when writing to a NFS mounted NAS device.
Example: I am in the NFS directory, moving from here to anywhere, I get this messages:
$mv bobby.txt /tmp
mv: cannot change owner and group of attribute SUNWattr_ro for file /tmp/bobby.txt: Not owner
mv: cannot change owner and group of attribute SUNWattr_rw for file /tmp/bobby.txt: Not owner
mv: Failed to preserve extended attributes of file bobby.txt
Only seems to happen on files originating on this NFS mount.
Here are the mount options from /etc/vfstab for this mount:
<HOST>:/export/host_backup - /oracle/backup nfs - yes rw,bg,hard,rsize=32768,wsize=32768,vers=3,forcedirectio,nointr,proto=tcp,suid
Not sure if Explorer output is needed... OS rev level is:
SunOS <HOST> 5.10 Generic_127127-11 sun4v sparc SUNW,T5240
Solaris 10 8/07 s10s_u4wos_12b SPARC
