Goal
This document explains how to rewrite the From: header of a mail being send from a Solaris system using sendmail.
The same can be done using the following document: Oracle Solaris[TM] 8,9,10: How to Implement Masquerading in sendmail (Doc ID 1003568.1)
However, when using the method described in Doc ID 1003568.1, the From: address will be rewritten for all users, while the method described in this document only applies to specific users.
