Symptoms

While attempting to install a package using both http://pkg.oracle.com/solaris/release and https://pkg.oracle.com/solaris/support, the update process consistently fails with the following error message:

Using 'curl' to download the same file results in the same errors.
It can happen to other packages that the firewall might block/reject.
