How to display and/or change Infiniband Node name (Doc ID 1480121.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.
On any node of an infiniband network, the following command displays the name of all the nodes:

Here is an example:
# ibnodes
Ca : 0x0021280001a0a85c ports 2 "x4170-sin06-c"
Ca : 0x0021280001a0a79c ports 2 "x4170-sin06-d HCA-1"
Ca : 0x00212856cbe2c000 ports 2 "SUN IB QDR GW switch localhost Bridge 0"
Ca : 0x00212856cbe2c040 ports 2 "SUN IB QDR GW switch localhost Bridge 1"
Switch : 0x00212856cbe2c0a0 ports 36 "SUN IB QDR GW switch localhost" enhanced port 0 lid 1 lmc 0

The field within "" is the name of that node. This document shows how these names can be changed.
