L700 - Tape Cartridge Cannot be Accessed / Ejected During an ACSLS Audit. ACSLS Audit Failure Noted on ACSLS Event Log (Doc ID 1487408.1)

Symptoms

During an ACSLS AUDIT the LSM reports hardware failures trying to eject cartridges with unreadable labels.

LSM reporting hardware errors, audit is failing reporting an eject failure on cart '??????' in slot 0,0,0,8,2. CAP requesting the removal of tapes.  ACSLS reporting SLM hardware failure and eject failures during ACSLS audit.

From the log file:
1. the ACSLS audit is failing to eject tapes to the CAP.
This message appears in the log frequently..

2012-08-27 14:33:18 AUDIT[19051]:

2. Library (L700) failure caused during an audit eject.
