Users Have Problems Accessing Oracle Secure Global Desktop From WAN (Doc ID 1487574.1)

Symptoms

Users accessing Secure Global Desktop (SGD) from a WAN connection are able to authenticate, but the loading screen never finishes loading. Connecting to the same SGD setup via a LAN connection does not see the problem.

Changes

 Reverse lookups of the server's IP address fail to resolve properly or do not resolve at all. e.g.

 
In this example the SGD server's IP address is 192.168.2.141 but the reverse lookup, by IP address, of this server fails.
