Symptoms

A Solaris 10 system with a Solaris Volume Manager (SVM) mirror can panic if the physical device of one submirror is not accessible. This can happen when going into multiuser mode during the boot sequence when running fsck(1M) on this SVM mirror and an error is discovered.
