Information in this document applies to any platform.
In a setup running Sun Ray Server (SRS) 5.3 / Sun Ray Windows Connector (SRWC) 2.5_49, attempting to copy a file from a remote Windows Server connected via SWRC to a redirected disk fails with a message saying:
not enough space
while the same works on previous SRWC versions (example: SRWC 2.3.1_05).
The same issue is seen with Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). The drive that is created via SWRC Local Drive Mapping feature shows up in the remote desktop as having 0 bytes free. By default, VDI launches the SRWC session using the arguments:
and it will create an H: drive on the remote desktop, but when viewing the files on H: e.g
will show that it is full (0 bytes free) when it should have much more space than that.
More details on the Local Drive Mapping Feature can be found at:
Upgrade to Sun Ray Windows Connector 2.5_49.
