Symptoms
Error message SLS6656I is produced incorrectly during CONFIG command processing.
SLS6656I Config Error: The range overlaps VTVVOL LOW=llllll HIGH=hhhhhh specified previously in the CDS
The problem occurs if the following steps are executed:
(1) VTV or MVC ranges are defined that contain contiguous volsers.
For example:
VTVVOL LOW=TM9000 HIGH=TM9999
VTVVOL LOW=TM5000 HIGH=TM8999
(2) The CONFIG command is executed later specifying a single range encompassing all volsers in the contiguous ranges.
For example:
VTVVOL LOW=TM5000 HIGH=TM9999
