Purpose

 Sun Storage 6140 Array Power Supply / Fan Trays (PSU) are now available as a Customer Replaceable Unit (CRU).

Scope

Oracle has now qualified the Power Supply Unit (PSU) of the 6140 Storage Array as a Customer Replaceable Unit (CRU). The part has been promoted to CRU status (previously a FRU, or Field Replaceable Unit) due to the ease and safety of the replacement procedure as well as the availability of guidance for system administrators in the Sun Storage Common Array Manager (CAM) Service Advisor.
