Solaris Cluster 3.3 or 4.0 scinstall Does Not Recognize ixgbe Network Interface for Private Transport At Installation (Doc ID 1527593.1)

Symptoms

During Solaris Cluster 3.3 or 4.0 installation the scinstall command do not show up ixgbe interfaces as an option to select for Private Transport (cluster interconnect).

The auto discovery for the ixgbe driver for the Niantic X1109A-Z network interface card does not work.

This product is also called the Sun Dual 10GbE SFP+ PCIe 2.0 Low Profile Adapter with Intel 82599 10GbE Controller.

This will prevent scinstall to complete successfully.
