Audio Is Not Working From X11 Application Deployed With Secure Global Desktop

Symptoms

Even though you have enabled audio in the application object via the Secure Global Desktop (SGD) Administration Console, and the client device has audio capabilities, no audio is heard on the client device.

In Secure Global Desktop Administration Console, you can check for the correct configuration of Audio on the following location:-

Global Settings -> Client Device

Allows users to hear the audio output from Microsoft Windows application servers. Changes take effect for new user sessions.
 
 
 
Allows users to hear the audio output of Unix application servers. Changes take effect for new user sessions.

 

To confirm that the Secure Global Desktop audio daemon is running, you can execute the following command:
