Information in this document applies to any platform.
Users connecting to Windows 7 Desktop sessions from Sun Ray Clients via Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) 3.4.x or Sun Ray Server (SRS) 5.3.1 Windows Connector (SRWC) may find that when they put the mouse over options in the Start Menu, the text for the option disappears and then reappears when mouse is moved. This only happens for Start menu, and only for Windows 7 theme. Classic menus are ok.
- This behavior may be seen with Sun Ray 2 and Sun Ray 3 and using Oracle Virtual Desktop Client (OVDC) 3.1 as well, and is seen with RDP and vRDP connections.
- Increasing the RAM for the Windows 7 Desktop Virtual Machine (VM) or increasing the size of the RAM assigned to the video card (VRAM) may not alter this behavior.
- If the parameters of the uttsc (SRWC binary) command are viewed, the issue is seen when the following parameters are used: -E wallpaper -E theming -E fontsmoothing
