This document explains how to redirect the X86 system console to the serial in the installation process.
It could be useful because it gives a better console to check logs and fix installation problems.
The doc covers GRUB, which is the GRUB for Solaris 10 and Solaris 11, and GRUB2 which is the GRUB in Solaris 11.1
This doc assume that you are able to configure a jumpstart server, or AI server and it doesn't cover how to do it. If you need help please check the manuals.
