Last updated on AUGUST 29, 2018

Applies to:

Sun StorageTek Auto Cartridge Sys Lib SW (ACSLS) - Version 8.1 to 8.1 [Release 8.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When logging in as user "acssa", the cmd_proc screen is not coming up.
The session is hung and cannot be terminated:
login as: acssa
Using keyboard-interactive authentication.
Last login: Thu Oct 4 08:00:26 2012 from dhcp-stgo2-1fl-
Oracle Corporation SunOS 5.10 Generic Patch January 2005
Enter terminal type: vt100

ACSLS is version 8.1

There is no problem bringing up the cmd_proc from the user "acsss" command prompt.

A truss of the hung acssa terminal session shows cmd_proc caught in a loop trying to access a file in /var/tmp/acsss:
lstat64("PIDQLO7oo", 0xFFBFEB08) Err#2 ENOENT
unlink("/var/tmp/acsls/PIDQLO7oo") Err#13 EACCES [file_dac_search]
getpid() = 7287 [7226]
lstat64("PIDRLO7oo", 0xFFBFEB08) Err#2 ENOENT
unlink("/var/tmp/acsls/PIDRLO7oo") Err#13 EACCES [file_dac_search]
getpid() = 7287 [7226]
lstat64("PIDSLO7oo", 0xFFBFEB08) Err#2 ENOENT
unlink("/var/tmp/acsls/PIDSLO7oo") Err#13 EACCES [file_dac_search]
getpid() = 7287 [7226]

Upgrade to ACSLS 8.1
