Symptoms

In some cases trying to "modunload" kernel modules fails with "can't unload the module: Device busy", for no obvious reason, in some versions of Solaris 10.

Changes

A prerequisite for this bug is that the svc:/network/iscsi/initiator:default service has been disabled.

# svcs -a | grep iscsi
disabled       Dec_31   svc:/system/iscsitgt:default
disabled       Jan_03   svc:/network/iscsi/initiator:default
