ACSLS Ver 8.0 - 8.2 Weblogic Install Fails (Doc ID 1537538.1)

Please Note: This problem was first fixed in ACSLS version 8.3 (reference Bug 16494519). This Knowledge document only applies to ACSLS version 8.0 through 8.2.

Symptoms

 Weblogic portion of ACSLS install fails without informing installer as to the reason.

Person installing ACSLS starts install.sh and is prompted for acsls_admin password. 

Person installing ACSLS enters a password where the first character is a "special character" such as $,%,#, or any other non alpha / numberical character

Examples of Possible passwords and weblogic install results        

Example User PasswordWeblogic response      
password Weblogic accepts password and the install completes normally.
passw@rd   Weblogic reports error "password invalid" install script prompts for new password.
@password Weblogic install fails and terminates, acsls continues installation without weblogic being installed.

 When installing ACSLS with the install.sh script, Weblogc does not allow the use of any special characters.
If a special character is used as the first character of the password, weblogic install fails with no error message posted to installer.
