Java Applications Can Be Jerky/Jumpy When Scrolling In Large Windows With Oracle Secure Global Desktop (Doc ID 1542079.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 21, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Secure Global Desktop - Version 4.62 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Oracle Secure Global Desktop (SGD) can be used to run Java applications as X applications.  When displaying Java applications in a window large enough to require scroll bars, the scrolling is not smooth, and the screen updates are jumpy or jerky inside of the window.

Running the same Java application outside of SGD is fine.
