Symptoms

SPARC Enterprise M8000, unable to change the password for the user account on the XSCF and no valid useful or detailed message is displayed

 

Example -

XSCF> password
Changing password for <user name>
(current) XSCF password:
New XSCF password:
Retype new XSCF password:
password: Operation failed
