Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure - Version 3.4 to 3.5.2 [Release 3.0]
After installing Oracle VM VirtualBox for Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) using the 'vb-install' installation script provided by the Oracle VDI media, the VirtualBox host may become unresponsive when trying to configure VDI to use that VirtualBox host. In this scenario, the VirtualBox 'vb-install' script generated logs and standard output report that the installation was successful, but there are no processes listening on the designated webservices port (port 443 by default).
Upon closer examination, the VirtualBox installation log shows an error similar to the following:
