Delayed Response to SIGINT When "-norender" Argument Is Used In Oracle Secure Global Desktop XPE Settings
(Doc ID 1549041.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 21, 2019
Applies to:Oracle Secure Global Desktop - Version 4.62 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When using Secure Global Desktop (SGD) to launch an X application, generating a SIGINT in a gnome-terminal while the terminal is generating lots of output e.g running "ls -lR /" can take upwards of 15 seconds before output is stopped. This will not happen on a shell that is running local to the SGD server hosting the desktop. But it will be seen after initiating an ssh session to another server from that shell.
The XPE argument -norender has been recently enabled.
