Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure 3.4.1 Desktop Provider May Be Chosen Even Though Dangerously Low On Memory (Doc ID 1549046.1)

It is found that the Desktop Provider section in the Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) 3.4.1 Administration BUI indicates an amount of free memory that is significantly higher than what the server itself reports.

For example, The Desktop Provider screen shows one host as 89% full (236GB total, 212GB used). That works out to be 24GB free.  On that Desktop Provider's console though it is only showing 8GB free:

This can result in VDI choosing a Desktop Provider with very little memory to start a Desktop and eventually the Desktops crashing.
