psrinfo: Physical processor view not supported (Doc ID 1552322.1)

Symptoms

On some new system builds, it may be noticed that the system will not be able to view it's processors using the psrinfo command:

# psrinfo -p
psrinfo: Physical processor view not supported

This has recently been reported against machines installed with the Solaris 10 Update 9 OS image (from /etc/release) on the T4 hardware platforms, and then patched to Update 10:
