Applies to:

Solaris Operating System - Version 10 9/10 U9 to 11 11/11 [Release 10.0 to 11.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The /var/adm/messages file will have the following entries if the iSCSI initiator fails to exchange the DefaultTime2Wait Login Parameter with the iSCSI target during a discovery login sequence. The initiator and target negotiate the minimum time, in seconds, to wait before attempting an explicit/implicit logout or an active task reassignment after an unexpected connection termination or a connection reset.
