Purpose

This reference document is intended as a high-level checklist to collect common baseline datapoints for new service requests related to Oracle's Secure Global Desktop (SGD) product.

Note on convention: In the command references below, use of the SGD commandline interface (tarantella) requires administrative access to a terminal shell on the host where SGD has been installed.   The default install directory for the product is /opt/tarantella, and the full path to this command is /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella.

Scope

This document is not intended to provide troubleshooting procedures, or an overview of Secure Global Desktop.  For either of these applications, we strongly recommend visiting the hub for all Secure Global Desktop knowledge within My Oracle Support (MOS), the Secure Global Desktop Information Center.
