Symptoms
Common Multiprotocol SCSI Target (COMSTAR) is a software framework managed by the SCSI Target Mode Framework (STMF) service that enables a Solaris host to be used as a SCSI target platform. The STMF service is managed under the Service Management Facility (SMF). Following a panic, the STMF service failed to start with the following symptoms:
