Goal

This document provides a working example of a firmware upgrade of the 8-Port, 3Gbps, SAS/SATA Host Bus Adapter (HBA). Internally, the HBA is referred to as Pandora. The System Handbook identifies it as Option SG-XPCIE8SAS (part number 7050793 or 375-3487). This document (and firmware 1.33.03) also applies to Mimas, identified as Option SG-XPCIE8SAS-EB-Z (part number 375-3486)

Downtime is required for the upgrade.
