Note. Linux other than Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) or Red Hat is not supported. Please test with a supported Linux when possible.
After a user turns on a Sun Ray client and attempts to login to Sun Ray Server (SRS) 5.4[.x] or Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) 3.5[.X] or logs out, the On-Screen Display (OSD) 26D icon or 26B appears on the display.
User is instructed by onscreen insert card icon to insert card, card inserted, instead of login gets 26B. Re-inserting card get same results. Only cold restart, not a warm will help.
The number of 26D or 26B occurrences will increase over time. Rebooting the server stops the issue occurring for a period of time.
