Oracle Secure Global Desktop - Version 5.0 to 5.1 [Release 5.0]

Secure Global Desktop users may find that the client keyboard mapping for the French (Switzerland) language fails to work as expected.

This behavior may be confirmed in an X11-based terminal window launched within a Secure Global Desktop session, by running the following command:

xprop -root | grep "_XKB_RULES_NAMES"
Note: The path for the xprop command may differ, based upon the installation architecture:
         - Solaris 10: /usr/openwin/bin/xprop
         - Solaris 11 and Linux: /usr/bin/xprop

Which may confirm in the output that the incorrect keyboard has been mapped, as demonstrated in this example:

_XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING) = "base", "pc104", "us", "", ""

rather than:

_XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING) = "base", "pc105", "ch", "fr", ""

is displayed.
