Goal

During routine administration, Secure Global Desktop (SGD) Administrators may find need to archive a SGD datastore for recovery or testing.

This document outlines the procedure to do so.   It should be noted that the only formally supported mechanism is via Array Synchronization.

Background: The SGD datastore is a the data structure which contains the objects defined for servers, applications, users, and assignments.   These concepts are discussed in the Administration guide, as per:
