Goal
8Gb and 16Gb HBA's have removable optics (SFP's), so the possibility exists of there being the wrong type of SFP installed.
Note. Oracle does not have SFP as CRUs for replacement on the 8GB Oracle FC HBAs, so if there is a failed SFP on a 8Gb FC HBA, the whole card should be replaced, see example on solution section.
For example, this is an 8Gb QLE2562 HBA. But in 'fcinfo hba-port' it looks like it is only a 4Gb card:
