Use Of Menu Accelerators in X Applications Results In Unexpected Behaviour in Oracle Secure Global Desktop 5.00 (Doc ID 1583765.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 08, 2013

Applies to:

Oracle Secure Global Desktop - Version 5.0 to 5.0 [Release 5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using a Motif X application with Oracle Secure Global Desktop (SGD) 5.00, the use of a menu accelerator may result in unexpected behaviour in the X application after the accelerator has been used by the user.

For example, if the X application uses "Control" + "C" keys as an accelerator for a menu item, and that menu item opens another window containing a text field, such a text field may contain an unexpected character as a result of the "Control" + "C" key presses.
