Login Attempts Pause, then Redirect Immediately to the "You have logged out" Page after Installation of Secure Global Desktop 5 (Doc ID 1586147.1)

Symptoms

After the successful installation of--and/or upgrade to--Secure Global Desktop (SGD) version 5, Administrators may find that login attempts with known-good passwords will hang briefly, then redirect immediately to a page informing the user that their account has been logged out.  In this scenario, no webtop is displayed and no user interaction inciting the logout is taken.

This behavior may be seen by individual user accounts in an upgraded environment, or with Administrator (root) credentials immediately after installation. 

Changes

A fresh install of—or upgrade to—of Secure Global Desktop, version 5.x.
