Symptoms
The amount of kernel memory is seen to increase over time. In this example, we see the kernel growing from consuming 56GB to over 70GB of RAM over a two week period. At the same time, the amount of memory consumed by the "ZFS File Data" bucket (mostly ZFS ARC data) decreased.
