Symptoms

The platform messages show:

A high ambient temperature has been detected. The ambient temperature detected is 26.00c; should be 15.00c to 25.00c.
An out-of-range ambient temperature had been detected, but it has now returned to a temperature within the acceptable range.

In this example, the warning occurred on an SC Peripheral board, but this error could be displayed for other components with a temperature sensor.

If the issue is ongoing, you will also notice the status in showenvironment output:

SCPER At SCPER1 ... HIGH_WARN

 

Changes

No changes have occurred since 2010 when the high ambient temperature detected.
