Symptoms

The messages file has the following entries:

The above messages can be issued when the two following conditions occur:

1. Uni-Directional CHAP (Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol) is setup

2. And as part of the iscsi login sequence the iscsi target returns a "Redirection" status to the initiator. (Note: this is part of the iscsi login protocol exchange, further details below)
