Solaris Cluster Node /System/Server will not Boot into the Cluster after Enabling IP Filter (Doc ID 1612891.1)

After enabling IP Filter on a Solaris Cluster one node can boot into the cluster but a second node is unable to boot into the cluster.

The boot messages will contain errors similar to the following:



 Enabling IP Filter without following the cluster specific steps outlined in the Oracle Solaris Cluster Installation Guide, Chapter 2 under the title, How to Configure Solaris IP Filter.
