Ops Center12c : browser hangs while redirecting to secure port

Symptoms

 While connecting to BUI page with IE 9.0.8112.16421 ( or unsupported FF 14.0.1 ) , the redirection hangs in the page "Redirecting to secure port"

Changes

There was an attempt to upgrade OC to U4 from BUI that hanged and was interrupted.

Later one, the customer did a manual upgrade, which succeeded.
