SAM-QFS - Drive will not idle and becomes unresponsive or inaccessible (Doc ID 1616356.1)

Symptoms

SAMFS 5.2.1 running samu trying to issue an idle command to a drive and there is no response.

Tried issuing a stage request and the stager selects the other (responsive) drive. The following stage requests did the same, always bypassing
the unresponsive drive.

No related error message found in devlog, /var/adm/messages, sam-log and stager trace files.

No drive issue reported in ACSLS. ACSLS drive status is online and available.

mt status and luxadm commands do not show any problem with the drive and drive configuration

Drives are not shared.
