Symptoms

Unable to archive and stage data. File system nearing capacity.

SAM-QFS displaying the following errors:


When issuing 'cat file.txt' , where file.txt is an offline file, the file is not being staged from tape.
'cat file.txt' gives "no such device" error message.

' dump_cat -V ' is not showing the VSN of the tape copy

The catalog file is missing

Changes

Applied an OS patch
