The tarantella info Diagnostic Utility Fails with sed Errors on Secure Global Desktop Systems Deployed on Solaris 11.1 (Doc ID 1633027.1)

Symptoms

The Oracle Secure Global Desktop (SGD) Administrator may observe that the tarantella info diagnostic utility fails to run as expected on SGD systems running on Solaris 11.1. 

In this scenario, errors are written to the terminal shell where the command has been executed, and may look like the following:

sed: command garbled: s/[]`/? >&$^!"'£#%()<*\]/_/g
/opt/tarantella/bin/scripts/info[519]: /tmp/ttainfo.tmp.10177/cmds/: cannot create [Is a directory]
/opt/tarantella/bin/scripts/info[526]: /tmp/ttainfo.tmp.10177/cmds/: cannot create [Is a directory]
cat: cannot open /tmp/ttainfo.tmp.10177/tmpErr: No such file or directory
