This document is provided as a supplement to official documentation distributed within the Exalogic 2.x Patch Set Update (PSU) for April 2014:

It provides further illustration and explanation on the sequence of steps that should be followed to upgrade firmware and software components of Exalogic Systems to patch level



This document may be followed to apply April 2014 PSU to the following releases:

Oracle's recommendation is that Patch Set Upgrades should only be performed by qualified and experienced personnel, such as resources available through Oracle Advanced Customer Support Services. Upgrade services are available from Oracle Advanced Customer Services via the Oracle Exalogic Quarterly Patch Deployment Service component of the Oracle Exalogic Start-Up Pack service offering.
