Symptoms

Solaris Cluster is managing a Oracle database with HA-Oracle (SUNW.oracle_server).

After a reboot of a node the oracle_server resource was unable to come up properly on one node and went into a timeout.

Example /var/adm/messages on problem node2:

 

It also was possible to bring up the Oracle database manually outside Solaris Cluster control on node2.
