Napatech host buffers adjustment for version 2 Palladion (Oracle Communications Session Monitor) (Doc ID 1666173.1)

This article applies to version 2 Palladion. For the Napatech host buffers adjustment in version 3 OCOM please see article Doc ID 1934414.1

In case a Napatech card is used for sniffing and one or more of following issues is being seen:

- Number of bits captured KPI (for the Napatech) is in its 20m zoom showing short drops time to time

- Some signalling packets are missing (observable i.e. as incorrect call states for some call or consequent higher active calls count then expected/real & higher values for 'Number of calls ended because of session timeout' KPI)

- Higher packet loss and lower MOS KPIs for VQ even if in the reality there is no packet loss for the media on the network
