Goal
When troubleshooting Oracle Emulex Fibre Channel (FC) HBA connectivity issue low level (debug) message maybe needed by Oracle support.
This document explains how to enable logging of extended (debug) troubleshooting messages to the /var/adm/messages files for Oracle Emulex Fibre Channel (FC) HBA card(s) on a Solaris servers using Oracle Emulex FC HBA Driver "emxls".
Debug messages are analyzed by Oracle support personnel since they may list false-positive messages. Oracle support personnel will use messages in context with other events and troubleshooting.
